When I was a starry-eyed freshman in college, the one thing guaranteed to give me a jolt of nausea was the thought of choosing a major. Graduating as an English Major
Just before graduation, I was hired as a Marketing Copywriter for a manufacturing company. I didn’t study marketing or know anything about their products, but that was okay. I knew how to write and more importantly, I knew what questions to ask so I could describe a product I had never seen before. After two years with this company, every new product description comes from research and asking the right questions. I never see the product until months after the description is written.
